i was looking through a census bureau report on people aged 90+ in the united states 2006-2008, with projections to the year 2050. according to the chart provided there are about 2 million people just in the united states that are over 90 years old.
we could conservatively cut that number in half to reach the 96 year-olds and then add in the rest of the world's figures.. .

Do not know for sure of course but it would not surprise me at all I mean how can it be cost effective otherwise. Judging by the pictures it looks more like a picture from a holiday property rental brochure. Could be a nice little accomodation set up for a visiting member of the GB elete. Would Jesus give it a five star rating or would he rest by the shore under the bridge?

congregations are to pledge a monthly amount to be sent to the society to fund the building of assembly halls and kingdom halls.
congregations who already have a loan from the society will no longer have to pay back the loan but the amount pledged should not be less than the current monthly repayments to the society.

An elder that's a misnomer for a start ; If an elder who has suddenly been given the right and ability presumably from Jehovah to advise on how to manage a persons or families finance then it should be sauce for the gander let's have a look at the elders financial arrangement first just to check he has his own house in order.
If an elder should sit down next to me which is very unlikely as I am now light years away from the Witnesses but if I was back in the Big Lie I would have another form printed ready with the expense details of my plan of expenditure for keeping a roof over my head especially as I was told to expect the New World any time during the 1950s when I was a young man.
The first thing I would say to the financially non qualified elder would be You are are having a laugh yes? and the second thing I would say is Have I got stupid across my forehead ?

however, if i was newly awakening or on the verge of awakening, i dont think this book would have helped me a great deal.
brother schnell has some good thoughts, however, he is short on detail and description, and even shorter on proof and documentation.. it is interesting reading about the transition of the bible students from a small group of independent noncomformists into an organization characterized by total conformity.
